I believe understanding yourself is one of the most powerful catalysts for healing. Mental health care is about more than reducing symptoms—it's about making sense of your experiences, recognizing the patterns that have shaped you, and creating the freedom to live in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who you are. My role is to listen deeply, help you understand what you're experiencing, and collaborate with you to develop a treatment plan that reflects your goals, values, and vision for your life.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and graduated from Maryville University in December 2024. I've been board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-BC) since 2015, and before specializing in psychiatry, I practiced as a nurse practitioner in primary care and hospital medicine—experiences that continue to shape my understanding of the close connection between physical and mental health.

My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and integrative. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I believe meaningful healing often comes from understanding the interplay between the brain, nervous system, body, relationships, lifestyle, and life experiences. Together, we'll explore not only what you're experiencing, but why—drawing on medication when appropriate, along with lifestyle interventions, behavioral strategies, neuroscience, and other evidence-based approaches to create a treatment plan that is individualized to you.

I believe our minds and nervous systems adapt to the experiences we have throughout our lives. Many of the patterns that bring people to treatment once served an important purpose, even if they now leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted. My goal is to help you better understand yourself—not because you need to become someone different, but because self-understanding creates the opportunity for meaningful, lasting change.

I especially enjoy partnering with people who are curious, engaged, and interested in understanding themselves more deeply. While reducing symptoms is certainly important, my ultimate goal is to help people build lives that feel meaningful, connected, authentic, and aligned with their values. Healing, to me, isn't simply about feeling less distress. It’s about creating more freedom, resilience, and choice in how you live your life.

I completed specialized training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy through Polaris Insight Center and have a strong interest in the thoughtful integration of psychedelic medicine within evidence-based psychiatric care. I'm also a member of the Clinical TMS Society and continue to pursue advanced education in innovative treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), neuroscience, and integrative psychiatry. My goal is to thoughtfully integrate established psychiatric care with emerging, evidence-based treatments to help each patient find an approach that is both effective and deeply personalized.

Above all, I strive to create a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of healing, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they gain insight, reconnect with themselves, and create lives that feel more intentional, fulfilling, and fully their own.
